Effie Saloniklis holds an international dance qualification and has more than 25 years of wide and varies experience in dance education. In addition to teaching in private dance schools, she has choreographed, instructed and accepted invitations to be part of numerous events and projects in the local dance network and wider community, including the following activities:
- Developed a dance curriculum in both primary and high schools for the Education Department and private school sector
- Conducted Jazz classes for the Information Dance Day for Year 12 dance students across metro and regional SA
- On invitation, presenteed a Year 12 Jazz framework for SACE moderators, setting the benchmark for all Year 12 dance students
- Choreographed for Move Through Life Dance Company
- Provided opportunities for DDA students to participate in community performances including the 2010 production of 'Candy Man' at Her Majesty's Theatre
- Taught as an invited guest for student and teacher workshops across SA and as a guest facilitator for the Ausdance strategic board and dance industry workshop
- Provided performance development training for ice-skaters and gymnasts preparing for state, national and international championships
- Recognised as a leading female figure in the 'Who's Who of Australian Women' Leadership and Beyond publications
